Medieval Conquest was a real-time strategy game developed by Cat Daddy. It was the first of its genre that CDG developed, releasing in the fall of 2004. The creatives over at the studio became moreso, delving outside of their comfort zone by this point. Rather than creating realistic management-style games, the creative heads in the studio chose to go toward fantasy worlds in a completely different genre. Still, their specialization in strategy-based games is overwhelming obvious in Medieval Conquest.
